Fourth Precinct Report, Feb. 21-28

Police report incidents of theft, damage and identity theft.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

  • A resident of Daytona Street in Atlantic Beach reported to police on Feb. 10 that they were the victim of identity theft when multiple fraudulent purchases were made on their credit card.
  • An unknown person(s) on Feb. 17 removed the glass from the sideview mirrors of a vehicle that was parked at the LIRR station in Woodmere.
  • An unknown person(s) on Feb. 23 shattered the side window of a vehicle that was parked on Clinton Avenue in Cedarhurst and took assorted papers and a wool jacket.
  • Nathaniel Grantt Jr., 38, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Feb. 23 for shoplifting at the at 253-01 Rockaway Turnpike in Meadowmere.
  • An unknown person(s) on Feb. 22 broke the passenger’s side window of a vehicle that was parked on John Street in Inwood.
  • An unknown person(s) on Feb. 24 shattered the rear window of a vehicle that was parked on Broadway in Hewlett.
  • An unknown person(s) on Feb. 25 took an iPhone from a table inside the at 331 Rockaway Turnpike in North Lawrence.
  • A resident of Albermarle Road In Cedarhurst reported to police on Feb. 27 that they were the victim of identity theft when multiple credit cards were fraudulently opened in their name.
