Fourth Precinct Report, Jan. 25-29

Police report arrests for shoplifting and DWI and incidents of larceny and mischief.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

An unknown suspect(s) on Dec. 25 took tools from a trailer that was parked in the yard of a Henry Street home in Inwood.

An unknown suspect(s) broke the side fence of a Brower Avenue property in Woodmere.

Hung Chang Yeh, 66, of Valley Stream, was arrested on Jan. 24 and charged with DWI at North Corona Avenue and West Chest Street in Valley Stream.

According to the Fourth Precinct, the following individuals were arrested and charged with shoplifting:

  • Salman Shafi, 26, of Valley stream, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on Jan. 24
  • Melissa Palmer, 23, and Lisa Miller, 23, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on Jan. 24
  • Eric Mceachin, 18, of Flushing, at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on Jan. 24
  • Chantee Stover, 31, of Springfield Gardens, at the Macy’s in Green Acres Mall on Jan. 24
  • Nakia Pellom, 27, and Detrice Smith, 25, both of Brooklyn, at the Loehmann’s in Hewlett on Jan. 25
  • Fanta Turay, 26, of Brooklyn, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on Jan. 25
  • Dorothy Andre, 26, of Jamaica, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on Jan. 25
  • Diana Cintron, 50, of Brooklyn, at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on Jan. 26
  • Jose Lopez, 67, of Far Rockaway, at the Costco in North Lawrence on Jan. 26
  • A 17-year-old female Far Rockaway resident at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on Jan. 27
