Fourth Precinct Report, Jan. 31 to Feb. 7

Police report incidents of theft, damage and identity theft.

  • Two snow blowers were taken on Jan. 20 from the , located 305 Cedarhurst Avenue in Cedarhurst.
  • A resident of Anchorage Road in Hewlett Bay Park reported to police on Jan. 30 that they were the victim of identity theft when an unknown person(s) used their debit card to conduct multiple fraudulent transactions.
  • A GPS unit was removed on Jan. 31 from an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Sunset Road in Lawrence.
  • An unknown person(s) on Feb. 4 broke the passenger side window of a vehicle that was parked on Club Drive in Woodmere.
  • An unknown person(s) on Feb. 4 caused damage to the windshield of a vehicle that was parked on Mott Avenue in Inwood.
  • An unknown person(s) on Feb. 5 slashed the front tire of a vehicle that was parked on Addison Street in Woodmere.
  • A resident of Flanders Drive in North Woodmere reported to police on Feb. 6 that they were the victim of identity theft when multiple fraudulent transactions were made with their debit card.
