Fourth Precinct Report, March 1 to 8

Police report arrests and incidents of theft in the Five Towns.

Arrests

  • Following an investigation, police said, Raxitkumar Jaiswal, 25, of Richmond Hill, an employee at the convenience store on Rockaway Turnpike in North Lawrence, was arrested and charged on March 4 with selling alcohol to a minor.
  • Tiana Collazo, 17, of Cedarhurst, was arrested and charged on March 3 with shoplifting assorted clothing at K-Mart in North Lawrence, police said.
  • Denisse Revera, 26, of the Bronx, was arrested and charged on March 5 with shoplifting assorted merchandise at K-Mart in North Lawrence, police said.
  • Stanley Rodriguez, 24, of Far Rockaway, was arrested and charged on March 6 with DWI at the intersection of Rockaway Turnpike and Burnside Avenue in North Lawrence, police reported.
  • Joila Wilcher, 25, of Far Rockaway, was arrested and charged on March 7 with DWI at the intersection of Broadway and Sheridan Avenue in Hewlett, police said.

Thefts

  • License plates were taken off of a 1999 Chevrolet between Feb. 26 and Feb. 28 at the intersection of Henry Street and Burnside Avenue in Inwood, police said.
  • A white Ford van was reported stolen to police between Feb. 27 and March 1 from Doughty Boulevard in Inwood.
  • License plates were removed between Feb. 28 and March 2 from a vehicle parked on Bayview Avenue in Inwood, according to police.
  • A stenographer machine was taken from a vehicle parked on Michelle Place in North Woodmere, the victim reported to police on March 1.
  • Change was taken from a vehicle parked on Gilbert Place in North Woodmere, a victim reported to police on March 6, according to police.
