Fourth Precinct Report, March 15 to 22

Police report arrests and incidents of thefts and identity thefts.

Arrests

  • Victoria Daniels, 18, of Woodmere, was arrested and charged with petit larceny on March 16 at the CVS in East Rockaway. Police said she stole ice cream.
  • Jason Vardaro, 18, of Hewlett, was arrested and charged on March 16 with causing damage to the front door of the CVS in East Rockaway.
  • Toneneilla Decoteau, 22, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged on March 18 with stealing clothing at in North Lawrence.
  • Sandra Beltran, 25, of Inwood, was arrested and charged on March 19 with driving with a suspended license at the intersection of West Broadway and Adelberg Lane in Cedarhurst.

Thefts

  • A Chrysler van that was parked in a driveway on Bayview Avenue in Inwood was reported stolen to police on March 18.
  • An iPad was taken from an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Burnside Avenue in North Lawrence by an unknown person, the victim reported to police on March 18.
  • An unknown subject was seen on March 18 selecting and concealing assorted merchandise in a shopping bag at Marshalls in North Lawrence.
  • Prescription pills, a cell phone and iPod were reportedly taken on March 21 from a victim’s vehicle while it was parked on Cedarwood Drive in Woodmere, police reported.

Identity theft

  • A resident of Oxford Road in Woodmere was the victim of identity theft on Sept. 1, police said.
  • A resident of Elm Road in Inwood was a victim of identity theft on Sept. 15, when multiple credit cards were opened in their name, according to police.

The people named in this article are accused of crimes by police and are assumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
