Fourth Precinct Report, March 7-13

Police report incidents of theft, mischief and identity theft.

  • An unknown person shoplifted $90 worth of merchandise on March 8 from the at 1220 Peninsula Blvd. in Hewlett.
  • An unknown person(s) on March 8 damaged a vehicle that was parked on 5th Avenue in Cedarhurst.
  • An unknown person(s) on March 9 entered an unlocked detached garage on Sunset Road in Lawrence and took two bicycles.
  • An unknown person(s) on March 9 removed two bicycles from the rear yard of a residence on Washington Avenue in Lawrence.
  • An unknown person(s) on March 10 ransacked and took 50 baseball hats from an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Glenwood Avenue in Hewlett.
  • The victim reported to police on March 11 that she parked her car at the at 605 Rockaway Turnpike in North Lawrence. Upon returning to the vehicle, two large scratches were found around the entire vehicle along with two scratches on the hood and scratches on all four doors.
  • A resident of Brower Avenue in Woodmere reported to police on March 11 that they were the victim of identity theft when multiple fraudulent transaction were made on their debit card.
