Fourth Precinct Report, Nov. 15-23

Police report three arrests and incidents of theft, damage and fraud.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • Kim Pierce-Abel, 43, of Inwood, was arrested on Nov. 4 and charged with conducting fraudulent returns totaling $282.30 while employed at the on Rockaway Turnpike in North Lawrence.
  • Hector F. Cabrera, 28, of Far Rockaway, was arrested on Nov. 18 and charged with shoplifting a wool hat and T-shirts at the on Rockaway Turnpike in North Lawrence.
  • Steven R. Tourt, 49, of Islip Terrace, was arrested on Nov. 19 and charged with DWI at East Rockaway Road and Union Avenue in Hewlett.

Theft/damage/fraud

  • A LIRR monthly pass and work ID was taken from a vehicle that was parked on Troy Avenue in East Atlantic Beach, a complainant reported to police on Nov. 15.
  • A resident of Cedarhurst Avenue in Cedarhurst reported to police on Nov. 19 that they were the victim of identity theft when multiple fraudulent transactions were made to their credit card.
  • An unknown person(s) damaged the side mirror of a vehicle that was parked on Marlborough Road in Cedarhurst, a complainant reported to police on Nov. 19.
  • An unknown person(s) caused damage to the front lawn of a residence on Ocean Avenue in Lawrence, a complainant reported to police on Nov. 21.
