Fourth Precinct Report, Nov. 29-Dec. 6

Police report arrests for shoplifting and incidents of theft and mischief.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • Jamel D. Andrews, 27, of Laurelton, was arrested on Dec. 1 and charged with shoplifting a men's fleece hoodie, two DVDs and a pair of slippers, all worth $117.45, at the on Rockaway Turnpike in North Woodmere.
  • Donna Campbell, 53, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Dec. 3 and charged with shoplifting assorted children’s clothing at the on Rockaway Turnpike in North Woodmere.
  • Brian F. Payton, 42, of Jamaica, was arrested on Dec. 4 and charged with shoplifting assorted merchandise at the K-Mart on Rockaway Turnpike in North Woodmere.

Theft/mischief

  • A TomTom GPS unit was removed from a vehicle that was parked in a basement garage on Chestnut Street in Cedarhurst, a complainant reported to police on Nov. 28.
  • An unknown person(s) removed a tire and rim from a vehicle that was parked on Central Avenue in Lawrence, a complainant reported to police on Dec. 3.
  • Assorted papers, baby clothing and $20 were taken from an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Provenzano Street in Inwood, a complainant reported to police on Dec. 4.
  • An unknown person(s) punctured the front tire of a vehicle that was parked on Washington Avenue in Cedarhurst, a complainant reported to police on Dec. 4.
