Police report arrests for shoplifting and DWI and incidents of theft and mischief.

Arrests

  • Naeem A. Bryan, 32, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on Sept 20 and charged with shoplifting at the Burlington Coat Factory located 345 Rockaway Turnpike.
  • Annmarie Giordano, 51, of Baldwin, was arrested on Sept. 22 and charged with shoplifting at the Loehmann's located at 1296 Broadway.
  • Shakeem S. Baker, 20, of Far Rockaway, was arrested on Sept 22 and charged with shoplifting at the Marshalls located at 345 Rockaway Turnpike.
  • Daniel R. Horowitz, 23, of Port Washington, was arrested on Sept. 23 and charged with DWI on Lido Boulevard in Lido Beach.

Incidents

  • An unknown person(s) between Sept. 20 and 21 took $5 and a GPS unit from a vehicle that was parked on Queens Avenue in Atlantic Beach.
  • An unknown person(s) between Sept. 20 and 21 removed $5 from a vehicle that was parked on Queens Avenue in Atlantic Beach.
  • An unknown person(s) on Sept. 22 broke the driver's side window of a vehicle that was parked on Franklin Place in Woodmere.
  • An unknown person(s) on Sept. 22 damaged the driver's side window of and ransacked a vehicle that was parked on Franklin Place in Woodmere.
  • An unknown person(s) on Sept. 23 threw a plastic pipe at the window of a Bayview Avenue apartment in Inwood, which caused it to break.
