Accomplice also threatened victim if he didn't pay up every week.

A Hewlett man and another man were arrested on Thursday for allegedly robbing an acquaintance of the Five Towns resident, according to police.

Mark Gobetz, 19, of Hewlett, and Jahkim Marson, 18, of Hempstead, went to the 20-year-old victim’s house in Valley Stream and apparently lured him into the backyard, police said. Marson allegedly confronted the victim and told him he had a gun before taking car keys from the victim's pocket. Marson then went into the victim’s 1998 Oldsmobile and stole a wallet containing an unknown amount of money. The victim was led back into his house as one of the defendants ransacked the bedrooms, taking an iPod and Xbox 360.

Marson allegedly told the victim that he had to pay Gobetz $20 a week or they would be back. The defendants fled the scene in a 2000 black BMW. Fifth Squad detectives arrested both men on Thursday at their respective residences.
