The Arson/Bomb Squad was sent to the Target store in Valley Stream Sunday after a bag was left in the parking lot, police said.
At 9:05 a.m., Fourth Precinct officers responded to the store at 500 West Sunrise Highway for a report of a suspicious item, according to police. The parking lot was cordoned off and the Arson/Bomb Squad arrived.
After an investigation, the squad determined the item was a bag containing miscellaneous clothing items. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
