Incidents of Theft, Shoplifting and DWI Arrests in the Five Towns, March 13-20

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

The Fourth Precinct reported the following incidents of theft from autos and mischief in the Five Towns:

• An unknown suspect(s) between March 12 and 13 stole license plates off of a trailer that was parked on Caryl Drive in North Lawrence.
• An unknown suspect(s) on March 17 stole a GPS unit and a dehumidifier from a vehicle that was parked on Bayview Avenue in Cedarhurst.
• An unknown suspect(s) between March 17 and 18 slashed two tires of a vehicle that was parked on Lawrence Avenue in North Lawrence.
• An unknown suspect(s) between March 18 and 19 took various tools out of an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Oak Court in Cedarhurst.
• An unknown suspect(s) between March 18 and 19 removed a GPS unit and a pair of sunglasses out of an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Crescent Street in Hewlett.

The Fourth Precinct said the following individuals were arrested and charged with shoplifting:

• Emilie Torres, 30, of Island Park, at the Kohl’s in Oceanside on March 13
• Debra Lisi, 54, of Baldwin, at the Kohl’s in Oceanside on March 13
• Remonia Wallace, 19, of Valley Stream, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on March 13
• Dannette Hassan, 36, of Jamaica, at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on March 13
• Glora Saint Fleur, 22, of Jamaica, at the Macy’s in Green Acres Mall on March 13
• Heidi Foster, 20, of Laurelton, and Nyah Jones, 29, of Brooklyn, at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on March 14
• Savitree Harripersaud, 55, of Richmond Hill, at the Kohl’s in Green Acres Mall on March 14
• Sylvia Reddick, 24, of Brooklyn, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on March 14
• Ayse Ekiz, 54, of Franklin Square, at the Kohl’s in Green Acres Mall on March 15
• Richard Johnson, 47, of Springfield Gardens, at the Foot Action in Valley Stream on March 17
• Maxine Edwards, 46, of Rosedale, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on March 17
• Jasodra Ramsaran, 57, of Jamaica, at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on March 17
• Dana Dixon, 17, and Dickoria Dixon, 19, both of Laurelton, at the Kohl’s in Green Acres Mall on March 17
• Micki Mallemuth, 55, of Lynbrook, at the Loehmann’s in Hewlett on March 18
• Joel Germain, 42, of Springfield Gardens, at the Kohl’s in Green Acres Mall on March 18
• Adesuwa Omosefe, 43, of Jamaica, at the Kohl’s in Green Acres Mall on March 19

The Fourth Precinct said the following individuals were arrested and charged with DWI:

• Michael Thompson, 55, of Jamaica, at Mill Road and Roosevelt Avenue in Valley Stream on March 13
• Zachary Lang, 25, of Cedarhurst, on Rockaway Turnpike in Lawrence on March 15
• Edwin Cruz, 41, of East Rockaway, on Scranton Avenue in East Rockaway on March 16
• Eddu Jose Bautista, 39, of Baldwin, at Sunrise Highway and Brooklyn Avenue in Valley Stream on March 18
• William Riano, 47, of Island Park, at Atlantic Avenue and Denton Avenue in East Rockaway on March 18
