Items Stolen from Cars and Homes, July 29 to Aug. 11

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

The Fourth Precinct reports the following incidents of theft:

  • An unknown suspect(s) on July 29 stole bottles of water from a Madison Avenue front porch in Cedarhurst.

  • An unknown suspect(s) on July 30 stole sunglasses from an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Green Place in Woodmere.

  • An unknown person(s)  on July 30 took a complainant's cell phone while she was shopping at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall.

  • An unknown suspect(s) on Aug. 7 took a bicycle, a stereo and assorted tools from a Soloff Boulevard garage in Inwood.

  • An unknown suspect(s) on Aug. 10 removed a package that was delivered to the front steps of a home on Fifth Avenue in Cedarhurst.

The Fourth Precinct said the following individuals were arrested for shoplifting and charged with petit larceny:

  • August Cuppini, 54, of Queens Village, at the Home Depot in Green Acres Mall on July 31

  • Shanique Bramwell, 18, of Springfield Gardens, at the Old Navy in Green Acres Mall on July 31

  • Jermaine Nelson, 28, of Valley Stream, at the Kohl’s in Green Acres Mall on Aug. 1

  • Nyla Seetaram, 32, of Queens Village, at the JC Penney in Green Acres Mall on Aug. 2

  • Eric Salazar, 21, of Far Rockaway, at the TJ Maxx on Rockaway Turnpike on Aug. 2

  • Chardonnay Timothy, 24, of Jamaica, and Shalanda Terrell, 39, of Rosedale, at the Pink in Green Acres Mall on Aug. 3. They were also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

  • Candace Broomes-Latham, 32, of Brooklyn, at the Kohl’s in Green Acres Mall on Aug. 4

  • Andrew Sepulveda, 23, of Valley Stream, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on Aug. 5

  • Larry Barfield, 55, of South Ozone Park, at the Home Depot in Green Acres Mall on Aug. 10

  • Isri Persaud, 40, of Elmont, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on Aug. 10

An unknown suspect(s) between Aug. 7 and 8 scratched a vehicle that was parked on Wahl Avenue in Inwood.

Natasha Major, 25, of Jamaica, who was an employee of the TJ Maxx on Rockaway Turnpike, allegedly was engaged in a verbal argument with a manager on Aug. 10 and began destroying merchandise at the store. She was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

Emerson Cruz, 34, of Inwood, was arrested on Aug. 11 and charged with DWI and leaving the scene of an incident without a report at Doughty Boulevard and Bayview Avenue in Inwood.
