A man who died after being struck by an empty Metro-North train Wednesday night in Greenwich has been identified as a 21-year-old from North Woodmere, according to a Metro-North spokeswoman.
The victim was identified as Alexander Bertrand, of Lawrence Court, a 2009 Hewlett High School graduate.
Officials said the cause of the accident — which occurred at about 7 p.m. on Oct. 17 — is under investigation.
