Nearby: 3 Flushing Women Arrested for Unauthorized Practice in Lynbrook

Spa arrests continue as three more employees charged in Lynbrook.

Three employees at a Lynbrook acupuncture establishment were arrested last week after allegedly performing massages without a license.

Li Hau Shan, 44, Xiuyun Yang, 43, and Jun Qi Wu, 50, were arrested on Feb. 18 at Best Chinese Acupuncture and Body Work, located at 82 Atlantic Ave., after Lynbrook Police said they performed a massage without being licensed by the State of New York.

The three women are all residents of Flushing, a staggering trend that has developed over the last two months.

In January, a total of eight Flushing women were arrested and charged with unlicensed operation at multiple spas in West Hempstead.

Five of the eight defendants arrested in West Hempstead were also charged with prostitution after allegedly offering to engage in a sexual act for an undisclosed amount of money with an undercover Nassau County police officer. There were no prostitution charges in last Monday's trio of arrests in Lynbrook.
