Photos: Firefighters Put Out Car Fire in Inwood
No one was in the vehicle at the time of the blaze on Friday.

The Inwood Fire Department responded to a fire on Friday at 4:15 p.m. in a mini van on Norton Street between Lawrence and West End Avenues in Inwood.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, which started in the engine compartment and totally destroyed the vehicle. No injuries occurred, as the vehicle was parked and unoccupied at the time of the fire.
