Police: Cedarhurst Resident Stole TV From His Job

Man allegedly left door open so he could sneak back in later.

A Cedarhurst man was arrested on Tuesday after police say he left the door open at his job so he could steal a $650 flat panel television.

Kevin Roldan, 20, was charged with burglary in the third degree and will be arraigned on Wednesday in First District Court, Hempstead.

Police say Roldan, who was employed as a cook at Munch n’Stuff, located at 206 Rockaway Tpke., intentionally left the rear door to the business unlocked and open before going home for the night on Monday. Roldan later allegedly returned to the store shortly after midnight on Tuesday morning, came in through the door he had left open and took the Samsung TV.
