Two people were arrested early Sunday morning in Inwood.

The ex-girlfriend of a Far Rockaway resident allegedly paid another man to pour anti-freeze into her ex's gas tank, police said. Both the ex-girlfriend and alleged perpetrator were placed under arrest in Inwood early Sunday.

According to Nassau County detectives, around 3 a.m. the male victim, 32, of Far Rockaway, discovered Charles Marc, 40, no known address, pouring anti-freeze into the gas tank of the victim's 1998 Ford Econoline. At this time the victim also noticed his ex-girlfriend, Sterrine Campbell 34, of Rockaway Beach, speeding away from the scene in her 2003 Honda Accord.

Police officers from the Fourth Precinct responded and placed Marc under arrest, police said. Further investigation revealed that Campbell had paid and supplied the anti-freeze to Marc.
