Police Searching for Armed ATM Robber

Man allegedly threatened victim with a gun.

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the pictured subject in connection with an which occurred in Hewlett back in August.

According to police, at approximately 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21, the subject allegedly attempted to rob a 66-year-old female victim at the Chase Bank ATM located at 1735 Peninsula Boulevard. The subject also threatened the victim with a gun, which was not displayed.

The subject is described as a white male, approximately 5-foot-6 tall, thin build, clean-shaven, between 30 and 40 years old, wearing a grey shirt, grey shorts and a grey baseball cap worn backwards.
