Police: Shots Fired at Lawrence Restaurant
Five people were inside at the time, but no injuries were reported.
Six shots were fired into a Lawrence eatery shortly after midnight on Friday, according to police.
Bullets hit the front façade of Tania's Fish and Chips, located at 250 Lawrence Ave., and one bullet went through the front glass of the restaurant at around 12:20 a.m., police said. Five people were inside the establishment when the bullets hit; there were no reports of injury.
Police request that anyone with information about this reckless endangerment crime should call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous.
