Video: Congregation Chair Says Accused Thief Was a "Friend"

Members of are reeling after its treasurer apparently $600,000 from the shul's accounts into his own, its chairman, Azriel Ganz, said on Wednesday.
After the shul's checks started bouncing a couple of weeks ago, the police were notified and arrested Isaac Zucker on Wednesday. Zucker's wife reported him missing last Friday, according to reports. He was found in a Holiday Inn near MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma.
Although members of the shul have been donating generously, Ganz said, the shul could always use more. Donations can be mailed to the shul at 894 Woodmere Place, Woodmere.
