Woman Robbed of Phone in Cedarhurst
Victim was pushed to the ground on Oxford Road near Westminster Road.
Two subjects believed to be teenagers stole a woman’s phone and pushed her to the ground while she walking in Cedarhurst on Wednesday, according to police.
At about 2:50 p.m., the 18-year-old female victim was walking on Oxford Road in the vicinity of Westminster Road when she was approached by two unknown male black subjects.
The first subject grabbed the phone from the victim while the second subject threw her to the ground, police said. Both subjects then fled the scene on foot into the Bay Harbor Mall parking lot. No injuries were reported.

Subject one is described as 16 to 19 years old, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds with a shaved head and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Subject two is described as 16 to 19 years old, 170 pounds and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a multi-colored hat.
Detectives request that anyone with information about this crime should contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
