Woodmere Fire Department Honors 50-Year Members

Longtime volunteers also honored by Town of Hempstead.

Active 50-year members of the Woodmere Fire Department were honored on Nov. 17 by the department and the Town of Hempstead during a special ceremony held at the firehouse. The honorees were Ex-Captain Roger Hanson, Firefighter Anthony Lauricella and Ex Assistant Chief Adolph “Duffy” Laino. They were also presented with official Town of Hempstead Certificates of Recognition.
