Atlantic Beach Bridge Adjusted for Northern Traffic Flow to Help Evacuations
Starting at 4 p.m. Sunday, bridge will serve northern traffic ahead of impending storm.
To assist in the evacuation of the barrier island ordered by Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano the Atlantic Beach Bridge leading to Rte. 878 (Nassau Expressway) to Rockaway Tpke. will be adjusted for northern traffic flow only beginning at 4 p.m.
