Hempstead Mobile Town Hall Coming to Woodmere Sunday

Town of Hempstead will bring its mobile town hall to Woodmere on Sunday.

The Mobile Town Hall provides information on the many town programs and services available to the public, and residents can apply for services on site. It will be available from 10 a.m. to noon at Town of Hempstead Parking Field W-4 (898 Cedar Ln.), across from the Woodmere train station.

“I encourage all Woodmere residents to visit the Mobile Town Hall on Oct. 6,” said Councilman Anthony Santino.

Councilman Jim Darcy added, “The Town of Hempstead makes it easy to sign up for a program, obtain information, ask questions and more.”

Santino, Darcy and the Mobile Town Hall are also offering a Child I.D. program. Children can have their picture and fingerprints taken — information which can become invaluable in the event of an emergency. Parents or legal guardians must be present.
