Three first-time candidates will face off on Tuesday to succeed an outgoing member of the Lawrence Board of Education.
Dov Herman, of Woodmere, Tova Plaut, of Cedarhurst, and Jesse Lunin-Pack, of Atlantic Beach, are vying for votes in the race for the seat currently held by Dr. Solomon Blisko, who chose not to seek re-election.
Along with the contest between Michael Hatten and Nahum Marcus, this election marks the first time in School District 15 where there are multiple candidates from the Orthodox community.
