FREE! Prostate Cancer Screening

Prostate cancer is the second-leading cause of male cancer-related death. A man dies every 16 minutes in the U.S. from prostate cancer. If detected early, prostate cancer is TREATABLE! Men over 40 yrs of age and older are encouraged to make an appointment for a free screening. Screenings are performed in a private setting by appointment at the Library. Please call Senator Hannon’s Community Office at 516-739-1700 to schedule an appointment or go online to kemphannon.com and follow the links. Please remember to bring a photo ID and two (2) stamped envelopes, one (1) addressed to yourself and one (1) addressed to your doctor.

Brett Mellinger, M.D. will be providing the screenings.
