HAFTR’s Early Childhood Celebrates Hanukkah

HAFTR welcomed parents, siblings, grandparents, and even great grandparents on Sunday to celebrate the holiday of Hanukkah with 4-year-old students.

The morning began with a breakfast, and the day’s highlight was the outstanding performance by the HAFTR students as they welcomed the holiday. Guests snapped along as the children sang a latke song to the tune of The Addams Family theme song.

The crowd rejoiced as the children recited the story of Hanukkah through song. The students’ final number was especially memorable, as HAFTR children waved flashlights in the air while singing that Jerusalem is the light of the world.
