Video: Lawrence Relays Against Cancer

The Lawrence High School Key Club continues its annual Relay For Life to help raise money for cancer research.

At Lawrence High School this past Saturday, Key Club student president Brittany Beyer with adviser Isaac Mayo helped organize the club's ninth annual Relay For Life, an all-night event in coordination with the American Cancer Society to help raise funds for cancer research.

The event featured a "survivor dinner" with a generous buffet catered by local restaurants, a raffle to help raise money, a candle lighting ceremony honoring survivors, caregivers, and those who have past, and a special dedication to Sally Saldutti-Strain, a former secretary at Lawrence High School who lost her battle with cancer last August.
