Anyone who feels the need to hit the ice, and a puck, can join open hockey at Grant Park every Sunday, Nassau County announced.
Open hockey will be held between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. Fees are $10 per player with a leisure pass and $20 for those without. Players must be 18 years or older. Full equipment is required. No checking is allowed.
A weekly puck shoot will also begin starting this Friday from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Fees are $10 per player with a leisure pass and $20 for those without. Full equipment is required.
