Girl Scouts of Nassau County Top Cookie Sellers

Combined they sold 15,000 boxes.

Girl Scouts of Nassau County’s 2012 Top Girl Scout Cookie Sellers proved they could reach their goals all while gaining experience in goal setting, decision making, money management, business ethics, and people skills. 

Combined the girls sold 15,000 boxes. To be a top seller the girls had to sell 1000 or more boxes of Cookies. More than 14,000 Girl Scouts throughout Nassau County sold 1.15 million boxes in 2012.

Girl Scouts of Nassau County builds girls of courage, confidence and character. Girl Scouting in Nassau County creates an accepting and nurturing environment, which gives girls a chance to build character and develop leadership skills for success in the real world.

In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them throughout their lives, like strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.

In order to get girls there, Girl Scouts has declared 2012 the Year of the Girl in a move to rally the nation around the cause of girls' leadership. With almost 21,000 girl and 7,000 adult members, Girl Scouts of Nassau County has become the preeminent organization and leading authority for girls. The organization, now in its 100th year, continues to make the world a better place one girl at a time.
