Flash Flood Warning for the Five Towns
Weather warnings issued as Tropical Storm Andrea soaks the area.
As Tropical Storm Andrea makes its way up the East Coast, Five Towners are feeling the sopping wet effects.
But weather experts are now also issuing a Flash Flood Warning for Five Town and the South Shore of Long Island through Friday night. Rainfall is estimated to be 1.5 to 2.5 inches per hour.

As Coastal Flood Warning has also been issued until 11 p.m. Friday night, with tides expected to be 1 to 2 feet above normal. High tide is estimated to roll into Lawrence by 8:32 p.m.
The totals could lead to "flash flooding of urban and poor drainage areas as well as small stream flash flooding," the weather service said.
