Lawrence Board Meeting, Meet the Democrats

Here's some things happening this week:

• The Lawrence School Board will hold a regular meeting on Monday at 8 p.m. at the Number Four School. Transportation is likely to be discussed.
• The Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library will host a community meeting on the new LIPA & PSEG Partnership on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
• The Herbert Tenzer Five Towns Democratic Club will host a meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. with the Democrats running for office in the Town of Hempstead.
  
• The Hewlett-Woodmere School Board will host a regular meeting on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Woodmere Education Center.
• The Jewish holiday of Sukkot begins Wednesday at sundown.
