This Weekend: 29th Annual Community Chest Fair

The Five Towns Community Chest’s 29th annual fair has been extended to three days this year since being postponed from its original date.

The fair, at Andrew J. Parise Park in Cedarhurst, features rides, games, food and entertainment, and is the most visible event for the community chest, which supports several local agencies.

"The fair is ... our way of reaching out to the community to raise awareness about the chest mission and to showcase to the public many of the wonderful service organizations that are available in The Five Towns if the need arises," said Bob Block, executive director of the community chest.

“Be sure to enjoy the entire fair throughout the Columbus Day weekend,” wrote Eric Keslowitz, chairman of the board for the community chest. “You never know who might show up, perhaps even a famous TNA Impact Wrestling Superstar.”
