Five Towns Community Chest

Since 1931, the Five Towns Community Chest has been dedicated to raising funds for local agencies that provide services such as child care, after-school programs, senior services and mental health services. It sold off its Franklin Place headquarters, which has housed the organization since 1956, in 2009 and donated a portion of the money to the Peninsula Counseling Center. The group also hosts events, such as a yearly fair.
