Hewlett High School serves students within the Hewlett-Woodmere School District. In addition to academics, the school features the Bulldogs sports teams and many clubs. Its students have a long history of community service. The school stresses to its students the three R's: responsibility, respect and reason. It also offers college-credit courses from Syracuse University Project Advance and Long Island University. Thomas Russo is the principal of the school.
