Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library

The library was established in 1947. The first library building was completed in 1955 and it was expanded in 1966 and renovated and expanded in 1996.
The library features a small recital hall that seats 200, as well as an art gallery. The Cranin Courtyard is available for people to read and study outside, featuring seating for summer concerts.
