I think that any BOY should be allowed to join the BOY Scouts regardless of their race, religion, orRead More sexual orientation. With that being said, there should be a zero tolerance for ANY scout, or scout master for that matter, that tries to encourage, indoctrinate, or otherwise impose their political, religious or sexual views on impressionable children. It should not even be brought up. They are all scouts. Not white scouts, black scouts, gay scouts, Catholic scouts. Just scouts. Period. American scouts if you want to go that far. I am not a scout, so I don't know for a fact, but I think there's a pledge in there about service to their country and fellow Americans or something. My boys have no desire to join but if they did, "are you gay" wouldn't even make the top 100 questions I'd ask the SM or other troops.

Good. It's about time. Sexual disposition, which is genetically ordained, shouldn't be used toRead More judge people. In terms of transmissibility, the common cold is a worse condition. Judge people by their actions, not their status. Let the BSA continue on its mission to mold good, moral young men. Sexual preference should have nothing to do with it.
