Chabad Center of The Five Towns

The local branch of the Chabad provides outreach and education for Jews living in the Five Towns and surrounding areas.More Since its establishment in 1995, the center has helped children with special needs and provided classes for youths, adults and seniors. The site also serves as a shul, with weekday and Shabbos services. Rabbi Shneur Z. Wolowik is leader of the temple.
JCC of the Greater Five Towns

The Jewish Community Center (JCC) serves all people within the Five Towns and surrounding communities with programs inMore Jewish culture, recreation and education. It also acts as a meeting place for members of the community. Programs, which include a nursery school and food pantry, are offered to adults, children, seniors and people with special needs, as well as emigrants from Russia and Israel. The organization boasts of some 14,000 participants and serves more than 5,500 families.
Five Towns Community Chest

Since 1931, the Five Towns Community Chest has been dedicated to raising funds for local agencies that provide servicesMore such as child care, after-school programs, senior services and mental health services. It sold off its Franklin Place headquarters, which has housed the organization since 1956, in 2009 and donated a portion of the money to the Peninsula Counseling Center. The group also hosts events, such as a yearly fair.
