Have lived in Merrick for 50 years.  It bothers me that there are signs welcoming people to the Merricks or to North Merrick as there is only one 11566 Merrick .. School Districts to not make up towns.  If they did would South Merrick be Bellmore because their children go to middle and High Schools in Bellmore ?
