Driver Injured After Crashing into Fire Hydrant in Cedarhurst
Firefighters found driver unconscious at incident site on Peninsula Boulevard.
A driver collided with a fire hydrant at about 2:15 p.m. in front of 333 Peninsula Blvd. in Cedarhurst.
Upon arrival, members of the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department found the driver in the car unconscious. The victim was transported to the hospital by LCFD ambulance.
A leak from the hydrant was also discovered.
