Humpback Whale Spotted in Atlantic Beach

No need to book an Alaskan cruise or sail far into the Atlantic to go whale watching.

A humpback whale was captured on camera leaping out of the waters at Lawrence Beach Club in Atlantic Beach Wednesday afternoon.

This whale, captured on camera by Robin McDonough, was spotted a few hundred feet off shore.

Humpbacks have been spotted several times by kayakers, beach goers, and a paddle boarder several times in the past three weeks, according to Newsday.
