The Five Towns now has a Thai restaurant with the recent opening of Pattaya on Broadway in Woodmere.
The eatery, at 1066 Broadway (the former location of Press), started serving Thai favorites such as pad Thai, mango chicken, pineapple fried rice, panang curry and chicken coconut soup on May 15. Pattaya manager Alan Widianto said that Five Towns patrons “love the crispy duck.”
Pattaya’s pleasant space features red walls with potted flowers all around. Its chairs and tables are modern and shiny. Currently, the restaurant is BYOB pending a liquor license, but Widianto said that it may do both in the future. Reservations are recommended on the weekends.
Widianto boasts of the restaurant’s quick delivery (516-791-2288) to the Five Towns and its surrounding areas, such as Atlantic Beach, south Valley Stream, Lynbrook and East Rockaway.
