DWAI and Shoplifting Arrests and Thefts in the Five Towns, April 25-30

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

The Fourth Precinct report the following incidents of theft and mischief to autos:

• An unknown suspect(s) on April 23 stole a Cadillac emblem from the hood of a vehicle that was parked on Spruce Street in Cedarhurst.
• An unknown suspect(s) between April 25 and 26 took a portable DVD player out of an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Oxford Road in Cedarhurst.
• An unknown suspect(s) on April 26 removed an iPad and accessories from an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Wanser Avenue in Inwood.
• An unknown suspect(s) between April 29 and 30 broke the passenger side window of a vehicle that was parked on Saddlerock Road in North Woodmere and stole a digital camera.
• An unknown suspect(s) on April 30 broke the rear window of a vehicle that was parked on Prospect Avenue in Cedarhurst.

Benjamin Eisenstein, 58, of Cedarhurst, was arrested on April 29 and charged with DWAI at Peninsula Boulevard and Stevenson Road in Hewlett.

The Fourth Precinct said the following individuals were arrested and charged with shoplifting:

• Danielle Baptiste, 24, of Far Rockaway, at the Kohl’s in Green Acres Mall on April 23
• Fabiola Pierre, 27, of Jamaica, at the Kohl’s in Green Acres Mall on April 24
• Tahira Lowe, 33, of Long Island City, at the Old Navy in Green Acres Mall on April 24
• Kristle Bonfield, 27, of Brooklyn, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on April 25
• Jahtera Ibraheem, 27, of Brooklyn, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on April 25
• Callesha Collings, 24, of Rosedale, at the H&M in Green Acres Mall on April 25
• Larry Hughes, 54, of Arverne, at the Costco in North Lawrence on April 27
• Maria Zetina, 48, of Far Rockaway, at the Costco in North Lawrence on April 29
• Mike Zetina, 21, of Arverne, at the Costco in North Lawrence on April 29
• Aaron Rodgers, 40, of Rosedale, Christopher Singleton, 29, of Baldwin, and Tasha Moore, 39, of Rosedale, at the Walmart in Green Acres Mall on April 29
