N. Lawrence Laundromat Robbed by Man With Knife

A man armed with a knife barged into a North Lawrence laundromat Wednesday morning and stole cash from its lock box, police said.

At about 7:30 a.m., a 47-year-old woman had just opened up DGB Laundromat, located at 232 Lawrence Ave., when a man with a silver knife pushed past her, police said. He then walked into the office and took an undetermined amount of money from the lock box and fled on foot in an unknown direction. There were two employees and one customer in the store at the time. No injuries were reported.

The subject is described as dark skinned, 5 foot 8 inches tall, 25 to 30 years old with a shaven head and facial hair and wearing dark boots, blue jeans and a white sleeveless t-shirt.
