A North Lawrence barbershop was robbed at knifepoint early Friday night, according to Nassau County Police.
Detectives report that a male suspect entered In the Cut, located at 85 Lawrence Ave. with a knife and demanded money from a hairstylist.

The victim complied and handed the subject an undisclosed amount of money.
The subject then fled the scene on foot northbound towards Mott Avenue. The victim was alone in the store at the time of the robbery.

No injuries were reported.
The subject is described as a black male, 5’6” tall, 140 lbs., unshaven and wearing black clothing.
